Valley Bands Boosters
Mission Statement
The Valley Bands Boosters provide visibility,
communication and support
for the band programs
at Valley High School with resources that
ensure growth and development
for all students.
We want to enlighten, excite, and educate the participation of our students through music!
The Valley Band Boosters is an organization dedicated to supporting the band students at Valley High School.  You are automatically a member of the booster club just because you have a student in band.  The Valley Band Boosters greatest asset is its people and their vast talents, abilities, time and resources.  We would like to encourage you to get involved, in big ways or in small, and help support the fantastic work done in the Valley Band department.  We assist with a wide variety of needs.  For example, assisting the students with dressing before performances, moving the equipment for performances, and running Valley Fest.  We raise funds for the band department and we help students raise funds for their individual band accounts.

Congratulations 2014 Jazz Champs!
Congratulations to Jazz Orchestra for winning the 4A class of 2014's Iowa Jazz Championships!  Best in the State--what an honor!

Additional congratulations also go to Saketh Undurty on trumpet and Taylor Igram on alto sax, both of whom earned Outstanding Performer recognition for today's competitions.  (There were only 4 outstanding performer recognitions awarded in Class 4A, and Valley musicians earned 2 of them!)
Also congratulations to Zane Gedler, Lauren Johnson, Todd Johnson for being selected for the All State Jazz Band, and Taylor Igram for being selected as an alternate!

The students and directors are proud of all the hard work they did this year to achieve this honor. Again, congratulations on a job well done and for showing the State what fine jazz musicians our school has!

What's going on? Spring Fling Wing Ding will take place on Friday, May 9 at VSW. SFWD is our annual celebration of the progress of the band program. We will have performances, presentations of awards, desserts, and more.
